A Vicoforte (15 minuti da qui), oltre al celeberrimo Santuario, troverai un percorso devozionale che tocca 6 cappelle chiamato “Via delle Cappelle del Rosario“. Il progetto originario (XVII sec.) prevedeva la costruzione di 14 cappelle votive che dalla sede vescovile di Mondovì avrebbero accompagnato i fedeli sino al Santuario di Vicoforte, rappresentando i 15 “Misteri del Rosario”. Oggi questo percorso è compreso nel sentiero turistico “Landandé” che, con le sue diramazioni, attraversa il territorio monregalese.

The Way of the Chapels
At Vicoforte (15 minutes from here), in addition to the famous Sanctuary, you will find a devotional path that includes 6 chapels called the “The Way of the Chapels” (Way of the Rosary Chapels). The original project, dating back to the 17th century, envisioned the construction of 14 votive chapels that would accompany the faithful from the episcopal see of Mondovì to the Sanctuary of Vicoforte, representing the 15 “Mysteries of the Rosary.” Today, this path is part of the tourist trail called “Landandé,” which, with its branches, crosses the Monregalese territory.
